Please note that while spaces are available in some year groups, others are currently full. Where a year group is fully subscribed, any new applicants will be placed on the relevant waiting list.

*For in-year admissions to Reception and Year 7, the starting school/secondary transfer planned rounds apply until 31 December each year. This school participates in the pan London Admissions Scheme and all applications for entry to Reception and Year 7 in the planned round must go via your local authority until the end of December of the year of entry. From the start of term in January each year, our standard in-year admissions procedure applies to in-year applications to Reception and Year 7 and you must apply direct to Prendergast Vale School from January onwards.

8.15am: Vian Street gate opens for Years 7 and 11
11.00am: Elmira Street gate opens for Year 8, 9 and 10
Monday 7th September: Year 11 Parents Information Evening 5 - 6pm
Tuesday 8th September: Year 10 Parents Information Evening 5 - 6pm
Thursday 10th September: Year 8 Parents Information Evening 5 - 6 pm
Tuesday 15th September: Year 9 Parents Information Evening 5 - 6 pm
Thursday 17th September: Year 7 Parents Information and Meet the Tutor Evening 5 - 6pm
Friday 23rd October: Federation INSET day
Half term: Monday 26th October - Tuesday 3rd November
Return to school on Wednesday 4th November
Uniform Reminders
We take great pride in our school identity and expect all students to wear the full school uniform correctly every day.
Blazer: School blazer with badge (must be worn at all times around the school site).
Shirt: Plain white shirt, fully buttoned and tucked into trousers/skirt.
Tie: Official school tie, worn neatly up to the collar.
Trousers/Skirt: Tailored black trousers or official pleated school skirt (knee-length)
Footwear: Plain, polishable black leather shoes or fully black trainers.
Jewellery & Makeup: Two pairs of small, plain silver or gold studs in earlobes only. One small nose stud. False nails and false eye lashes are not permitted.Nail polish must be natural and discreet.
PE Kit: Official school sports shirt, green shorts/black tracksuit trousers (unbranded)
Equipment Expectations
To ensure lessons begin promptly without disruption, every student must arrive with a fully equipped pencil case every day.
