Daniel Douek believes that every child should have access to a good education. After moving with his young family from the USA to London in 2021 and later enrolling his child in a Lewisham primary school, he is excited to make an impact on the community as a governor.

Daniel has worked as a product manager for over a decade, most recently at Amazon, where he is a principal product manager in core store operations. In this role, he has learned the value of collaboration and insisting on high standards by holding teams accountable to core performance metrics, challenging existing processes, and building inspection mechanisms to drive continual process improvement. 

Daniel grew up outside Manhattan, New York, and studied Psychology and English writing at university. He has also previously worked with children as a Direct Care Worker at a group home in Brooklyn, New York, managing the daily activities of teenagers with developmental disabilities.
