Reannah Britto

Co-opted Governor

Reannah Britto is a passionate advocate for social justice, youth empowerment, and education. With a Master’s in Social Justice and Education from UCL, she has dedicated her career to amplifying the voices of young people and driving systemic change.

As the former Senior Youth Advisor to the Mayor of London, Reannah played a pivotal role in shaping the London Violence Reduction Unit’s 2023–2025 strategy, co-leading initiatives to tackle youth violence and create opportunities for young Londoners. Her extensive experience in advocacy, policymaking, and frontline youth engagement has positioned her as a dynamic changemaker in the sector.

In addition to her policy work, Reannah is the founder of MAI Cultures, a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young people affected by structural harm, particularly overcrowding. Through prioritising well-being, creating and repurposing spaces for support, and advocating for system change, MAI challenges the barriers that prevent young people from thriving and works towards a future where every young person has the environment they need to flourish.

Reannah’s unwavering commitment to justice, leadership, and transformative change continues to shape her work as she forges new pathways to uplift and inspire future generations.
